Joe Rodriguez opened the doors of Precision Auto Repair in 1962 with the intentions of giving people an honest and reliable place to bring their cars in for repairs. Nearly fifty years later Precision Auto is one of the oldest independent repair shops in San Francisco and has held true to its original mission statement since opening its doors. The longevity of this shop is a testimony to its high level of service and customer satisfaction which has always been our highest priority.

I had a check engine light and I brought it into the dealership. The dealership quoted me 2x the standard price for parts and labor so I called around to get another quote (probably 5 auto shops). When I arrived John Rodriguez was extremely friendly and said they could turn it around in less than a day. I barely ever leave reviews but I felt like I needed to for Precision Auto Repair. They honestly made my day so much better after getting no help from other shops that were closer to where we are staying. We are from out of state so we don't have a regular auto shop in SF.
